Here are some answers to some Frequently Asked Questions that may help you with your booking, enquiry or your visit to the spa.

What do I need to wear?

Just your normal clothes. You will be taken through to your treatment and asked to change in there when the therapist leaves the room. If you arrive early to use the relaxation lounge before your treatments we provide you with spa slippers.

What happens if I cannot attend my appointment?

We require 48 hours notice of cancellations or for the rescheduling of appointments. Your deposit or payment will not be refunded if cancelling/rescheduling within this time period.

Do i have to pay at the time of booking?

We require a 50% deposit for new customers or bookings for more than 1 hour treatment. If booking online we require full payment at the time of booking.

My Gift Voucher has expired, can I still use it?

We are able to extend the gift vouchers for an extra 3 months. An admin charge of £5 is applicable. 

DO you offer Acrylic or gel nail extensions?

We do not offer acrylic nails or nail extensions at the spa. We offer CND Shellac which is a hard wearing polish that can last up to 2 weeks and paints over the natural nail.

I am pregnant, can I still have a treatment?

As long as you are over 12 weeks and have had your 12 week scan we are able to offer you treatments*

* Not every treatment on our menu is suitable for pregnancy and treatments will be adapted for your comfort.. 

Do you offer Intimate Waxing for men?

No unfortunately we do not offer this service.

Am i able to bring my child for a spa treatment at urban oasis?

We do not provide treatments for anyone under the age of 16. Anyone between the age of 16-18 may come and have a treatment in the double room accompanied by an adult.

Can we bring our own food and drink to the spa?

Unfortunately no. We do offer afternoon tea or refreshments in the spa, including prosseco, which you can order on the day.

Do you have any wet facilities?

No. We are a day spa only. 

are there showers for us to use after our treatment?

We do not have any showers for you to use. We recommend that you keep the oils we use during massage on your skin so they can be fully absorbed. The same with facial products. We are able to perform scape massages dry and product free, just speak to your therapist.

Do i get student,Nhs or debenhams staff discount?

We offer student (10%), NHS (20%) and Debenhams staff discount (20%) on all our services. ID is required. No discount is available on products.
