Important Information


Arrival

We endeavour to begin and end all sessions on time. Please help us to maintain our high standard of time keeping by arriving at the Spa at least 5 mins prior to your treatment time. If you are more than 5 mins late for your appointment, it may be given to a walk in customer.

Late Arrival

Late arrival does cause us problems due to our very busy schedule. If you arrive late, please be assured that we will try our very best to provide a full and relaxing treatment. However, this will depend on the remainder of time left on the appointment. Please be aware that if an appointment is shortened or cancelled due to late arrival, the full treatment cost will stand.
No refunds or cash exchange are available for gift certificates. 24 hours notice is required for cancellations. All treatments will need credit card confirmation at the time of booking. Party bookings are required to pay a 50% deposit once confirmed no less than 2 weeks before the party date.

Safety & Well-Being

For your safety & well-being, please take a moment to read the following information.

Upon arrival you will be asked to complete a brief Health Questionnaire & Disclaimer with the Spa manager or Spa co-ordinator. This information is requested for your own safety and well-being and is treated as confidential by the Spa Co at all times.

Please be aware that massage, heat treatments and treatments associated with massage are sometimes not advisable for customers experiencing symptoms associated with cancer, heart conditions, high/low blood pressure, circulatory disorders, thrombosis, epilepsy, diabetes, pregnancy*, allergies, back/neck/head injuries, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, cerebral palsy, undiagnosed lumps/bumps/swellings or anyone undergoing treatment, taking medication or suffering from any medical condition.

If you do suffer from any of the above and would like to have a Spa Co treatment, we will require a signed disclaimer from you prior to any treatment commencing. If on arrival any treatment is found to be unsuitable, the Spa staff will recommend where possible an alternative subject to availability. If you are in any doubt as to your physical condition and suitability of our treatments, please check wit your GP prior to your visit.

For your own safety and well-being, we strongly discourage heavy consumption of alcohol before or after treatments

After Treatment

Most people are soothed and relaxed and experience feelings of well being and increased alertness.

Any initial feelings of muscle soreness, aches or general tiredness are due to the release of toxins into the blood stream and are positive signs that the treatment has been effective. These sensations are usually quickly replaced by refreshing, invigorating feelings soon after treatment. Sometimes, the release of tension also leads to a temporary heightened emotional state.

Aftercare Advice

To maximise the benefits of your treatment, please try to:
  • Drink plenty of fresh water following treatment, this helps flush out the toxins that have been released from the soft tissues into your system.
  • Eat a light diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables for vitality and their cleansing effect.
  • Try to avoid or cut down on stimulants such as tea, coffee and alcohol. Enjoy fruit juices, fruit or herbal teas instead.
  • Rest as much as possible.
  • Continue to aid relaxation by taking time to soak in a warm bath regularly, or to listen to relaxation music / tapes.
